Tourists have picked up a bit of a bad reputation in recent years. Whether it’s a daily fee to access Venice, a screen to block Mount Fuji or an expensive tourist tax in Amsterdam, several top destinations have taken measures to reduce the number of tourists visiting. 

But where can tourists be sure of a warm welcome? 

A study by Remitly asked people around the world questions to find out how friendly different countries are towards tourists. 

Luckily for Britons, there are some fantastic destinations in the top 10.
