Social media influencer leaves $3,000 tip at restaurant while filming food tour

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB/Gray News) – A social media food influencer left behind a very generous tip to the owners of a restaurant after giving them a perfect score when it came to their service.

Keith Lee, a TikTok contributor who has more than 16 million followers, has been taking his viewers on a Baton Rouge food tour, and one of his stops included Fork N Spoon, an eatery that serves all-day breakfast and lunch near Louisiana State University’s campus.

In a video posted this week, that has already racked up over a million views, Lee can be seen trying multiple dishes from the locally owned business.

He ate several dishes including maple bacon berry toast, banana berry French toast, a plate of loaded grits and more.

Lee rated the maple bacon berry toast a 7.9/10. The loaded grits were rated a 7/10 and French toast was an 8/10.

“In my opinion, this is a very good brunch for a very good price,” Lee said. He mentioned that he spent around $37 for the meal.

Lee gave the restaurant’s customer service a 10/10 score and informed the young owners that he would be leaving them with a $3,000 tip.

The owners thanked Lee for his generosity and his visit as they are anticipating an influx of customers following his review.

Lee said his fans can let him know what restaurants they recommend he try during his Baton Rouge trip.

Lee has gained popularity and a massive following on social media for his honest food reviews.
