Slutty Vegan food truck to return to Louisville Saturday

Slutty Vegan, the famous Atlanta-based vegan restaurant, is bringing its food truck back to Louisville for a second time.

Slutty Vegan will be parked from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center, 3029 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., in Louisville’s West End, the restaurant announced in a Facebook post.

Slutty Vegan previously came to Louisville in 2023 and served several fan favorites, including plant-based burgers and vegan chili, at The Palm Room.

Originally starting out as an Instagram business, Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole was making plant-based burgers in July 2018 and fulfilling orders made through the social media app, but a few months later, she opened her first restaurant.

The Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center will also have the third edition of Race4Justice, a race inspired by Breonna Taylor, starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday. The proceeds will go to Louisville nonprofits working on justice, according to the center’s website.

People can register for the race through https://runsignup.com/Race/Register/?raceId=122924&eventId=831004.
