A Lip Reader Reveals What the Royals Were Chatting About During Trooping the Colour
If you’re wondering what everyone (by which I mean the royals) were chatting about during Trooping the Colour over the weekend, fear not: a lip reader has entered the chat.
According to professional sleuth Nicola Hickling, who spoke to The Mirror, King Charles was spotted telling Queen Camilla mid-carriage ride “Oh dear, I don’t know why I’m feeling rather tearful.”
Meanwhile, Kate had several cute moments with her kids on the Buckingham Palace balcony. Turns out she told her son Prince Louis “You stay there, okay?” and then added to Princess Charlotte, “Keep smiling and stay here for one moment.”
Charlotte then told a dancing Prince Louis “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade,” to which he replied “I won’t.” She said “do as you’re told,” and he simply replied “nope.” Icon remains iconic.
Oh, and at one point Prince Louis apparently asked Kate “can I play with these beads?” and she said “No. I need you concentrate on the parade.” She also asked her youngest son “did you like that?” regarding the flypast, and he sweetly replied “that was so much fun.”
Soooo, all in all a very cute interaction between the Princess of Wales and her kids! It’s unclear at this point when we might next see Kate due to her ongoing chemotherapy treatment, but she wrote in a recent Instagram post that she hopes “to join a few public engagements over the summer,” so stay tuned.
