What is Suits season 9 about?

Robert Zane’s (Wendell Pierce) sacrifice to protect Harvey from the Bar Association leaves Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) devastated after losing her mentor. While consoling Samantha, Harvey realises that he cannot bear to lose Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), the person who means the most to him in and outside the office.
Throughout season 9, Harvey and Donna navigate the complexities of their relationship while striving to salvage the firm’s damaged reputation alongside Samantha and their other partners — Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Katrina Bennett (Schull) and Alex Williams (Hill). As the season progresses, the personal lives of the main characters are delved into more profoundly than ever before, setting the stage for the series’ conclusion.
By the end of the season, each character is compelled to make definitive choices about their identities and the type of lawyers they aspire to become.
