Psagot Spirit: Discover the new lifestyle complex at Psagot Winery

In a challenging period of war, Psagot Winery decided to open the Psagot Spirit lifestyle complex, a new initiative born out of a desire and commitment to uplift spirits. This innovative complex combines everything beyond wine and draws inspiration from it—Wine & Beyond: a connection to nature, aesthetics, lifestyle, and sustainability.

The complex features a local nursery tailored to the mountainous area, and a shop for garden and home furnishings. Each piece speaks the language of nature, using natural, recycled materials and abundant greenery. The complex also boasts a small, stunning vintage clothing store, curated by hand from around the globe, and a French patisserie.

The crown jewel, however, is a unique studio in Israel that offers vintage wedding dresses from the 1920s to the 1990s, carefully collected from around the world. Each dress has its own story.

Naama Berg has had a passion for vintage for many years. Berg, a doctor of ecology by profession, lives and breathes nature conservation. For her, incorporating vintage into a sustainable lifestyle is integral. Reflecting on the idea behind opening the studio, she says, “My wardrobe is almost entirely second-hand, filled with extraordinary pieces that are nearly impossible to find today, especially at reasonable prices. Moreover, true vintage always looks a bit different; the designs from the past simply captivate. Today, it’s hard to find items of that quality.”

Over the past six months, amidst the surrounding war, the task of collecting antique wedding dresses began. The dresses were sourced from Europe and the United States, where genuine vintage can still be found. This collecting journey has been and continues to be a fascinating adventure through unique shops, collectors, and private buyers worldwide.

Among the antique items in Berg’s collection are two shawls over 120 years old, from 1900, knitted and embroidered with delicate needles and gold threads. The studio provides fittings for brides to maintain the originality of the dresses and the authenticity of the cuts and fabrics. Prices start at NIS 4500.
